SUDANESE MUSLIMS

  • Dr Tom Umbarak and Mrs Alice Umbarak <webmaster@sudanFutureCare.org>
  • Dr Tom Umbarak works for the World Bank. Apart from his professional work he has founded and works with a small charity  that helps Sudanese citizens who are suffering persecution from their government.  (We sometimes forget that dark skinned Sudanese who are Muslims suffer at the hands of the Khartoum government much as Christians do.)
  • We recommend Dr Umbarak and his American wife, Alice, though they are not Islamic specialists, because of his detailed knowledge of the peoples of his suffering country. .
  • They prefer to be asked to talk with a group rather than to address a meeting formally.
